Kevin Sanchez is a master’s student, working on designing an imaging detector to use with Neutron Resonance Transmission Analysis (NRTA).  The high gamma background and low count rate of NRTA create significant issues for traditional small scale pixelated detectors and other imaging devices which he is working to overcome. Kevin’s area of specialization includes nuclear policy, counterproliferation, and radiation detection. He received his BS in nuclear engineering from the United States Military Academy and is a captain serving as a US Army Nuclear Counterproliferations Officer.  Kevin is married to his spouse, Ryann, and helps take care of their two dogs, Jimmy and Carson.
